From a young age, I found myself enchanted by the world of jewelry design. This journey began with the simplest of materials – seed beads and fishing line borrowed from my father's tackle box. My mother, an inspiring figure in my life, introduced me to the joys of creating at around six or seven years old. Those early years were filled with the creation of vibrant seed bead necklaces, each piece a stepping stone in my growing passion for jewelry design.
As the years passed, my skills evolved and my designs became increasingly intricate. I eagerly absorbed new techniques, always seeking to expand my creative horizons. This insatiable thirst for knowledge and artistry has been a guiding force throughout my life.
Fast forward to today, and I've been a professional jewelry designer since 2006. My love for jewelry design has led me to discover and embrace metalsmithing – a technique that has become not just a skill, but a form of moving meditation for me. The process of shaping, molding, and creating with metal is both therapeutic and invigorating, allowing me to channel my creativity into tangible, wearable art.
My business today focuses primarily on custom jewelry designs, tailored to the unique desires and stories of my clients. The range of my work is as diverse as the individuals I create for – from the simple elegance of a stretchy bracelet adorned with chosen crystal beads to the deeply personal and emotionally resonant memorial pendants, which incorporate the fur and ashes of a beloved animal companion. Each piece is a labor of love, a tangible connection between my art and the personal journeys of those who wear it.
